The placement of the implants are strategically and well distributed in the arch. This is essential for the proper functioning of the prosthesis.
There are other factors that influence a satisfactory result, such as the material used for each case and the precision with which the mouth records are taken.
The implant bridges can be made of different materials:
Metal-resin: the internal structure is metal and the teeth are fitted in the right color and shape for each patient.
Metal-porcelain: the internal structure is metallic and the teeth are made by adding ceramic.
Zirconium-porcelain: the internal structure is made of white metal, which improves the aesthetic appearance.
PEEK: the internal structure is polyether-ether-ketone, which has been successfully applied in human surgery for many years. Thanks to its excellent resistance and its optimum polishing characteristic, which reduces the building up of plaque, PEEK is especially suitable for the manufacture of high-quality prostheses. Furthermore, its insolubility in water makes it an ideal biocompatible material for allergic patients.
